tumble 4 ya.
Recently, my tumblelog got a lot more interesting to me than this one, so much so that I’ve thought several times about switching over altogether, like some of my friends have.
A tumblelog’s a more informal, scrapbook-style blog for sharing things, without all the social anxiety — and my friends at Davidville have invented a wonderfully elegant and intuitive platform at Tumblr to let you get your own in minutes. Please feel free to check it out.

Tumblr is an awesome tool. I just wish it allowed CNAMES so that everyone didn’t have to be x.tumblr.com. I’d probably move my blog over, since I just neglect it anyway. Makes sense to tie together everything in one place.

Whoa, I take it back! They DO allow you to have a custom URL. Awesome!

Steve, you would be giving up nifty comments like this, though. But on the flip side: no laboring over a post and then wondering why people didn’t leave a comment. Or being annoyed by stupid ones. I know there are only a few people reading my tumblelog — I can see a few of them on my dashboard — and they’re all people I like, so I’m happy.
