Well, shey.net is sort of back, although we’ll remain in Texas through the end of the month. Thank you to everyone who sent kind words and thoughts to us and Rachel’s family in the past weeks — we really appreciated it. I’m sure everyone will be happy to hear, we did get a blessing in the form of Rachel’s new nephew, Cuauhtemoc, who was born a week ago this past Thursday, and you can see a picture of him with his aunt Rae above, taken not too long after he was born. He’s back home now with his mom and dad and doing well, and as soon as we have a minute there’ll be loads of pictures up on the .Mac site — I must have taken hundreds. Also, below, some definitive proof that Mom Shey has now visited Mexico, and a pretty disturbing Spongebob piñata we found. That’s all for now, but again, thanks, and we hope everyone has a happy holiday. We’ll be having a big get-together in Texas on the 27th in Rachel’s father’s memory, enjoying the nice weather and doing some of his favorite things, cooking out with the whole family, and I couldn’t think of a better way to end the year. Here’s to 2004, and hoping for happy times for everyone.
Also, Congratulations to Zaida and Frank!
