Billboard To Give Charts Short Codes For Mobile Downloads

Billboard magazine is planning to launch a mobile initiative in June which will eventually allow mobile phone users to download any song on its numerous charts using short codes. , reports James Pearce for Moco News.
“The codes will appear in the weekly early this summer. Apparently about 20 percent of Billboard s revenue is consumer driven, and Billboard president and publisher John Kilcullen expects that figure to double”.
