Quiet update: EyeTV’s latest version (1.8.4) supports exporting any show you’ve recorded to video iPod format. This may be trumped within a month by upcoming Apple announcements, but it’s still cool. I’ve already embarassed myself laughing out loud at Colbert Report on Amtrak thanks to EyeTV; now there’ll no end of places I can look like a fool.
