gondry's creepy little gifts

Deitch Gallery (76 Grand Street in Soho) is running an exhibit of the sets from Michel Gondry’s much-anticipated (among my friends at least) hipster fantasia The Science of Sleep, “to allow their more concerted consideration as sculpture.”

The exhibit website promises the ability to walk through the sets in three dimensions.

This is the kind of thing we used to write about here, and say, damn, wish we were in New York — so we’ll definitely be checking it out after the movie comes out this Friday.

Through Sept 30. More info: The Science of Sleep; an exhibition of sculpture and pathological creepy little gifts by Michel Gondry.
